What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Counter position at Dumplin's Bistro?
Dumplin’s Front Counter Staff will take pride in providing exceptional service to our walk in Guests while performing the duties of suggestive selling and serving those dining, ordering at the Counter, take-out orders and associated responsibilities. Our ideal candidate will d emonstrate excellent “Front of House” communication skills .
Requirements/Qualifications:
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Customer service: waiting on customers, upselling, making customer meals-sandwiches, soups, and salads, some cleaning.
Maintain an awareness of all menu items.
Answer phones according to standards, handling Take-Out orders.
Any other tasks as assigned from time to time by any manager.
Enthusiastic, reliable individual with confidence and good communication skills.
Ability to work flexible shifts.
Some experience working in a fast paced environment.
Self-starter, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Enthusiasm, energy and positive attitude with a desire to learn and develop.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Minimum age – 18 years.
