Duties

- Enforce traffic laws and regulations; issue citations as necessary.

- Provide first aid and CPR when necessary; assist in emergency medical situations.
- Handle animals in distress or involved in incidents, ensuring their safety and welfare.
- Utilize surveillance techniques to monitor suspicious activities within the community.
- Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in criminal justice or related field is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by law enforcement standards.
- Strong report writing skills to document incidents accurately and comprehensively.
- Knowledge of law enforcement practices, procedures, and relevant laws including immigration law.
- Proficiency in conflict management techniques to handle disputes effectively.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with community members.
