Build, Create, and Make a Difference at Duncraft!
Join a team where craftsmanship, pride in your work, and building products that last is all part of the everyday adventure.
At Duncraft, we're more than just a manufacturing shop-we-re a family-owned business passionate about backyard bird feeding and creating products that help people connect with nature. For over 70 years, we've designed and built high-quality bird feeders, birdhouses, and nature products that customers trust and birds love.
Now, we're looking for a dependable Manufacturer who loves working with their hands, takes pride in building something real, and thrives in a fast-paced, team environment. If you enjoy woodworking, solving problems on the fly, and seeing the finished product at the end of the day-this could be a great fit.
What You'll Own:
Hands-on Manufacturing: Build products that bring joy to bird lovers everywhere.
- Bring our bird feeder and birdhouse designs to life with woodworking tools and equipment.
- Follow work orders, read plans, and double-check your work - because craftsmanship matters here.
- Keep production goals in sight while making sure every product meets our quality standards.
Shop Safety & Tool Use: Work smart and safe - we'll provide the gear and training.
- Operate woodworking equipment, saws, hand tools, and heat sealers safely.
- Keep your workspace organized, clean, and ready for the next project.
Teamwork & Collaboration: Be part of a team that cares about what we build - and how we build it.
- Work closely with the Manufacturing Manager and your teammates to keep production flowing.
- Jump in where needed - help solve problems and keep the energy positive, even on busy days.
About You:
- You love working with your hands and building things that last.
- You've got experience in woodworking, manufacturing, construction, or similar hands-on work.
- You're comfortable around tools, know how to use them safely, and take pride in maintaining your equipment.
- You're physically able to lift and move materials - and don-t mind rolling up your sleeves.
- You're a team player who shows up ready to work - and ready to help.
- High school diploma or GED preferred - but we care more about what you can do than what's on paper.
- Steady Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
- Seasonal Overtime: Available when production ramps up.
- Family-Owned & Proudly Independent: 70 years of doing what we love.
- Your Work Matters: See the difference you make every day in the products you build.
- 401(k) with company match - we-re invested in your future
- Health, dental, and vision insurance - we've got you covered
- Paid time off and paid holidays - because everyone needs a break
- Employee discounts - your backyard birds will thank you
- Life insurance, disability coverage, and more
