Assembler
Position
The Assembler will be responsible for performing any and all production and assembly procedures regarding parts produced by ATCO LanAir and L2 Filtration. This includes operating tooling, equipment and machinery while maintaining the knowledge of assembling each part according to Work Instructions and drawing specifications. This should include a general skill of troubleshooting basic issues and mitigating human error without deviating from the documented procedure unless otherwise specified by his/her supervisor.
Reporting to the Production Manager or Supervisor, the Assembler’s role is essential to fulfill the product development cycle in accordance with our published internal procedures and 14 CFR §21.303.
The Assembler will constantly work closely with the Production Supervisor and staff to ensure all production operations are completed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
· Molding and manufacturing of products
· Operation of production tools, equipment, and machinery
· Read and interpret Work Instructions and engineering drawings
· Filling out paperwork (travelers, lot numbers, etc.)
· Meeting production and product requirements (quantity, quality, fit & function, etc.)
· Ability to be cross-trained for multiple assemblies
· Work effectively in both solitary and team-based applications
· Maintain a general understanding of product function and method of assembly/fabrication
· Clear communication and reporting to his/her supervisor of any issues regarding the assembly process, equipment operation, tool use, or safety hazards
Qualifications (Required)
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
· Previous work experience
· Experience working within an AS9100 / ISO9001 quality systems;
· Experience with regulated goods and/or elevated quality standards is a plus (ex: clean rooms)

Working Conditions & Physical Efforts
· Work is performed in an interior work environment, a combination of office and production floor
· May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Ability to sit or stand for a prolonged period of time
· Functions that may require repetitive movement, lifting, reaching, or crouching
· Finger dexterity is needed to assemble products and operate machinery
· A high level of organization, attentiveness, and hand-eye coordination is essential for success in this position due to the various types of material handling, assembling, tool use, and machine operation
· Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas and/or use of specific equipment
· Demonstrate basic safety awareness
· Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions beings those of near vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
· Talking and listening occur continuously in the process of communicating with colleagues and supervisors.
· L2 Filtration is a drug & alcohol free work environment
Other
· Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position
· Ability to work overtime, per management request

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
