What You’ll Do: Golf Operations & Customer Service:
- Assist with smooth daily operations at the golf course, including maintaining inventory and fulfilling online orders.
- Provide exceptional customer service to golfers and guests, addressing inquiries, concerns, and special requests.
- Assist with the operation of indoor golf simulators.
- Work in conjunction with food and beverage staff to close the facility and provide necessary services, such as tending bar.
Inventory & Order Fulfillment:
- Assist with inventory control and management, ensuring all equipment and supplies are adequately stocked and in good condition.
- Process and fulfill online orders efficiently and accurately.
Leagues & Events:
- Aid in the coordination of programs for weekend permanent tee time holders.
- Assist in organizing and implementing club-sponsored tournaments, leagues, and events to create a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for participants.
Safety & Risk Management:
- Follow and enforce safety rules and regulations established by the department.
- Continually observe work conditions and procedures to detect and report unsafe conditions and practices.
- Report all accidents, injuries, and unsafe situations promptly to supervisors.
- Assist in the investigation of accidents to help identify causes and corrective actions.
Additional Duties:
- Work collaboratively with management to analyze and improve current procedures and implement effective operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of operational improvements and efficiency strategies as directed by management.
- Support Dundee Township Park District's Mission Statement by providing excellent service to the community.
What You Bring:
Experience: Prior experience in golf operations, customer service, or similar roles preferred.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification related to golf management or business is a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, especially during peak hours.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); Golf Genius software experience is a plus.
- Ability to manage inventory and communicate effectively with customers.
- Ability to multitask and handle various aspects of golf operations simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with tools, equipment, and golf-related machinery.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including some nights and weekends.
- Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
- Must obtain CPR and BASSET certifications within 30 days of employment.

Schedule
This position is full-time, year-round. The expectation is that the candidate will work 40 hours per week plus overtime during peak golf season hours. During the season, the expectation is 42 – 50 hours per week. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required. The Golf Operations Lead Associate works at both Randall Oaks Golf Club and Bonnie Dundee Golf Club.
