Job Description
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
· Greet each guest in a friendly and polite manner
· Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service
· Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems
· Performs other duties as required to provide fast and friendly genuine hospitality
· Experience in a similar work environment
· Assist with all guest needs.
· Explain all hotel amenities, hours of operations and hotel policies to guests.
· Block and pre-register for guests as instructed
· Perform check-ins and check-outs as required and verify all information for accuracy.
· Communicate with all hotel departments efficiently
· Complete all transactions and daily deposits to meet resort standards.
· Confirm sufficient supplies are ready and available to last the entire shift.
· Ensure incidental services (movies, phones, video games, etc.) are active or restricted as per guest requests or as instructed
· Post payments and deposits accordingly.
· Thank guests as they leave the premises.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have open availability and able to work holidays and weekends
- Focus on the customer and customer service skills
- Attention to detail. Ensure that work is accurate, thorough and to the highest standards.
- Foster teamwork. Work well in a team environment and motivate teams to sustain exceptional levels of performance.
- Communicate effectively. Clarify and provide information so that coworkers, customers, and suppliers understand.
- Knowledge of products and services
- Computer Skills
- Cash Handling
- Requires walking and standing throughout the entire shift.
- IQware experience a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.50 per hour
