About the Position
This Operational Efficiency Manager position at Dunham-Bush USA LLC is responsible for driving efficiency, reducing waste, and implementing lean methodologies in our chiller production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
- Analyze production workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement Kaizen, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) improvements.
- Develop and implement Standard Work Procedures (SWP) to ensure consistency and repeatability.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve overall operational performance.
- Monitor and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) like OTD, cycle time, and defect rates.
- Create a culture of continuous improvement by training and coaching employees on Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for process deviations and quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Requirements
- 3-7 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or a related role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), 5S, and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
- Experience with root cause analysis (RCA), FMEA, and problem-solving methodologies (8D, DMAIC).
- Excellent communication and training abilities.
- Experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or chiller manufacturing is a plus.
