What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Dunkin & Associates?
This is a family-oriented, fast moving family office that works throughout Texas, based in Bryan-College Station. This position includes a variety of responsibilities in a multi-company environment. We are seeking an outstanding professional with critical thinking skills to join our growing team. This is an in-office position available at our Bryan/College Station office.
Accounting Manager/Controller
General Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain accounting and financial reporting across multiple entities (rental properties, rental equipment, loan portfolios, ranching program, etc)
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions for multiple entities
- Prepare bank reconciliations, financial statements, liquidity schedules, cash forecasts, and budgets in a timely manner
- Point of contact for CPA firm, coordinate the preparation of tax returns for multiple entities to meet tax filing deadlines.
- Perform treasury management activities such as monitoring cash balances and initiating wire transfers, ACH payments, interbank transfers, etc.
- Review and process payroll on a weekly basis and maintain the payroll records.
- File Texas Mutual and TWC reports
- File sales tax reports
- Assist in the Company’s annual review and processing of employee benefits (e.g., medical, dental, and life insurance oversight).
- Participate in the annual review of corporate and personal insurance policy renewals.
- Improve process for accounts payable and accounts receivable across all entities

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/related field
- Minimum 3-5 years’ work experience
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
