Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various marketing activities to help drive brand awareness and customer engagement. This position is a remote position; however, regular in person meetings are required. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who who would like to be part of a growing team. The position will start as a contract position, but has the possibility to move into a more permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Support the marketing team in administrative tasks
- Create content and monitor multiple social media accounts
- Assist in creating and implementing marketing campaigns
- Conduct market research and analyze data
- Collaborate to produce promotional materials
- Manage and update company databases and customer relationship management systems
- Help organize promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns
Requirements
- High level of proficiency in Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
- Working Knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools
- Familiarity with WordPress, WIX or other web design platforms
- Experience with email marketing campaigns
- Strong research skills
- Ability to assist in developing marketing strategy
- Ability to work on multiple projects
- Photography and photo/ video editing experience a plus
Job Type: Contract
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
