COMPANY PROFILE
Duo-Safety Ladder Corp. is a small manufacturing company located in Oshkosh, WI. We manufacture fire service ladders for the fire service industry. We have been in business since 1931 and have been at the same location since our beginning.
Primary purpose of Role:
The HR Generalist provides support for approximately 25 employees company wide in the areas of employee relations, benefits administration, recruitment and selection, training and onboarding, payroll and safety policies. Approximate hours are M-F from 8 am – 2:00 pm for a total of 30 hrs per week, with potential to turn into 40 hrs.
Essential Duties
- Interview and recruit new hires
- New hire onboarding and training
- Responds to routine questions from employees
- General HR support to managers with employee issues
- Attendance tracking
- Benefits administration
- Workman's Comp. liaison
- OSHA tracking and policy compliance
- Safety training and tracking
Basic Qualifications
- Associates degree in Human Resources or higher
- 1-2 years related experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
