We are looking for a strategic operator who can help us grow our suite of languages, facilitating delightful localized experiences across all of our course subjects. You’ll help us plan, facilitate, and launch high-quality content to our key markets and audiences. About The Role...

You will...
- Drive language and feature launches, developing project plans and timelines with cross-functional partners; identify risks, address dependencies, and mitigate roadblocks
- Advocate for automation and system improvements, leveraging technology to make processes repeatable and transparent
- Own tracking and data visualization for your localization vertical, to improve planning, decision-making, and prioritization
- Cultivate relationships with key partners to develop a localization strategy and roadmap for your area
- Collaborate across internal teams (marketing, product, design, engineering) and external partners (agencies, freelancers) to build localization standards and minimize downstream issues
- Localization project management experience. You have demonstrated strong operational/organizational / project management ability, such as experience building and scaling processes from the ground up
- Collaboration skills. Partner with functions across the company—such as engineering, QA, product management, content development, and senior leadership—to ensure communication across teams and to foster collaboration across stakeholders
- Tech-savviness. You are proficient in managing and scaling workloads using technology
- Strong communication skills. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- 5 years of experience working in localization in a fast-paced, high-growth environment;
- A Bachelor’s Degree or above;
- Experience driving results in a cross-functional environment;
- Proven ability to create and execute detailed plans accounting for ambiguity, dependencies, and technical complexity in an agile environment
- Experience working in edtech or consumer tech
- Ability to work full-time from or relocate to Pittsburgh, PA or New York, NY
- Intermediate or higher proficiency in a foreign language
- Understanding of CAT and CMS technologies
