Indian Prairie School District 204, located in Naperville and Aurora, Illinois, is seeking an outstanding educational leader who will help us achieve our mission of inspiring all students to achieve their greatest potential. The District serves over 25,000 students. This full-time Director position starts July 1, 2025 and is a 12 month, permanent position. The Director is primarily responsible to provide leadership in linking assessment to curriculum and instruction and in developing a systematic approach for research, evaluation, and assessment.
Job Summary :
- In collaboration with administrators, direct the development and implementation of assessment programs to evaluate the general, educational programs and achievement of students.
- Supervise the administration and scoring of testing programs. Conduct statistical analysis of the results to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the instructional programs for schools and the District.
- In collaboration with other administrators, conduct research to investigate the effectiveness of various instructional programs and recommend action steps based on findings.
- Develop and implement professional learning programs to train licensed staff in preparing students for testing and analysis of data.
- Develop and distribute reports to the Board of Education, staff, and the community on education achievement and testing results.
- Compile, maintain and report data on various programs as requested by administrative staff.
- Serve as a resource and support to the administration and licensed staff in developing and interpreting assessment criteria for use in classroom learning.
- Research educational testing development and share information as appropriate.
- Supervise and support Assessment Specialists in their professional development and support of schools.
- Responsible for state and federal level report compliance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities :
Qualifications :
Master's degree required. Doctorate preferred. Qualified candidate must have a valid Professional Educator License with an Administrative endorsement and experience in providing leadership in linking assessment to curriculum and instruction. Experience as a classroom teacher and administrative experience is preferred.
Rate of pay : Salary range is $149,661 - $185,134. Salary is commensurate with experience.
