Duplass APLC is seeking a Paralegal with litigation experience to manage a busy docket of insurance defense cases. The candidate must have three to six years of experience as an insurance defense paralegal, strong oral and written communication skills, keen eye for detail, superior organization and computer skills, ability to manage work for multiple attorneys and cases, and proficiency in MS Office Suite. Knowledge of NetDocuments is preferred.
Duties include, but are not limited to case evaluation, summarizing depositions and medical records, preparing medical chronologies, noticing and setting depositions and maintaining calendars, drafting pleadings, answers, and discovery, complying with all court imposed and other deadlines, coordinating extensive discovery activity, assisting with trial preparation, and managing and recording billable time entries in compliance with clients’ billing guidelines.
