DuPont's paid intern / co-op program offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience to develop essential skills for their career. By working on meaningful projects with DuPont professionals, you will integrate classroom theory with practical work and gain real-world experience working in an inclusive environment as you prepare you to be a leader. You will also have the opportunity to engage with diversity, equity and inclusion organizations at DuPont.
As an Engineering intern or co-op, you will adopt DuPont's core values, gain industrial experience, and develop an understanding of DuPont Business and Functions, products, and customers. You will work in a team environment alongside experienced professionals and participate in work-specific training and development.
Our US student program includes 10–12-week internship and 3–6-month co-op assignments. The scope and length of your assignment will vary depending on the specific site and function.
Summer interns and co-ops must be available from June – December at our Buffalo location site
Examples of typical roles in manufacturing, operations and business include Manufacturing Technical / Process Engineering, Capital Projects, Automation & Process Control, Leveraged Engineering, Equipment Reliability & Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, Product Quality, and Technical Service
