Job Summary
DuPont is looking for a Salesforce Technical Architect. The candidate will work to support processes in the marketing and sales ecosystem, which is comprised mainly of Adobe AEM and Marketo for our websites and marketing automation, a product information management system, Salesforce.com CRMs and multiple ERP systems. The role will involve ensuring end-to-end processes are taken into consideration as you lead the technical design and development of Salesforce solutions. Extensive knowledge and experience with Salesforce, including system configuration, integration, customization, and development is necessary. To ensure the successful delivery of Salesforce projects, you will need to work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and other technical team members regularly.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Lead technical design and development activities for Salesforce solutions while taking E2E processes into consideration
Provide guidance and support to project teams on
Salesforce best practices and technical approaches, and
The configuration of Salesforce applications to support business requirements
Develop Salesforce customizations using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and other related technologies
Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs and middleware tools (SAP CPI knowledge a plus)
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and practices
Collaborate with other technology teams to ensure successful integration and compatibility with other applications
Drive technical discussions with cross-functional team members and business stakeholders to collaborate on solution design
Education & Experience
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
7 years of experience with Salesforce development and implementation
Expertise in Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and Salesforce APIs
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and data model
Experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs and middleware tools
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to lead technical discussions with business stakeholders and team members
Experience with Salesforce B2B and Salesforce CPQ
Salesforce certifications, such as Technical Architect, are preferred but not required.
Expertise in architecture, application design, and software development methodologies
Strong understanding of technology architectures such as service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, etc.
Experience in developing and delivering solutions for cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience with enterprise integration patterns and tools
