What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Restaurant Captain position at Duquesne Club?
Are you a leader? We have an opening for a restaurant captain/host to oversee our restaurants. This position oversees the environment of the room and assists the servers. Responsible for setting up room according to specifications. Some functions include determining room temperatures to ensure comfortability, alerts maintenance/housekeeping of any room needs/requirements prior to members' arrival, inspects linen, cleanliness of chairs and carpet and general condition of room. This position will interact with the kitchen to ensure exemplary service. Other duties as assigned.
Position requires mobility and dexterity to bend, stoop, grasp, reach, twist, etc. One would be required to stand/walk during entire shift or incorporate all activities into their shift. One must have the ability to lift 50 pounds as well as physical strength to pull equipment.
All staff members who work at the Club should be friendly and always greet members with a smile and address them by name. One should be accommodating and always go the extra mile to see that the member’s needs are met and exceeded.
