Assistant Director, Enrollment Communications – Enrollment Management Group Salary: Commensurate
with experience POSITION SUMMARY: Under the
primary direction of the Assistant Vice President for Marketing and
Communications for Enrollment Management, and in conjunction with the Director
of Enrollment Marketing and Communications, the Assistant Director, Enrollment
Communications will create, maintain and execute an annual communication and
content plan that incorporates multiple channels (10 ), track progress and
results; revise as necessary throughout cycle; ensure plan execution is on
time, on strategy, assure quality standards and meets goals. DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: As part of the
EMG Marketing and Communications team, work closely with the AVP EM Marketing
and Communications and Director of Marketing and Communications to create and
maintain an annual communication and content plan that incorporates all internal
and external channels (10 ) Responsibilities
include: communication plan execution; ensure plan execution is on time and on
strategy, assure quality standards and meets goals. Develop and maintain
centralized communications calendar, integrating internal and vendor plans;
schedule and deliver curated content to 10 content channels for marketing communication
campaigns. Optimize content delivery strategies; tailor content to outlet
platform and audience. Communications
lead for Slate Deliver CRM, including coordinating email, SMS and print
messaging and timing with communications technology support colleagues;
maintain best practices and current knowledge of Slate Deliver and email
marketing. Serve
as a primary or secondary point of contact with internal and external partners;
build strong relationships with partners, stakeholders and marcom team;
collaborate with internal colleagues, particularly enrollment operations and
student services, Division of Marketing and Communications, and other
University departments. Facilitate print production coordination and interface for direct mail
projects. Maintain
library of assets, brand messaging and related deadline, CTA and other
recruitment communication messaging and proof points based on audience, cycle; update
annually, distribute Participates in professional
development and performs other duties and projects as assigned Participates in large admissions recruitment events - mandatory (i.e, DUQ Days,
etc.) Allocates
expenses in Chrome River for University procurement card Completes other
duties as assigned

Monitor analytics and effectiveness; develop workflow, process and campaign
reports. Distribute updates, develop reports and presentations. Assist with
communications development and proofreading when needed.
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in communications,
multiplatform journalism, English, marketing, business, or liberal arts from an accredited
institution. Minimum one
year to two years of relevant professional work experience required. Note: Minimum one to two years of relevant communication experience, preferably
in digital content management; the logistics, organization, execution and coordination
of marcom projects can substitute for specific bachelor’s degree majors. Preferred qualifications: Experience in digital
content management preferred CRM

experience and training, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities
