Executive Administrative Assistant – Thomas R. Kline School of Law Salary: $28.50 per hour POSITION SUMMARY: The Executive Administrative
Assistant will provide administrative support to the Kline Center for Judicial
Education and its two existing positions, the Director and
Jurist-In-Residence. This position
assists with the coordination of continuing judicial educational programming
and special events and projects, as well as the maintenance of programmatic
files related to the Kline Center operations. DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports the work of the
Director and Jurist-in-Residence in planning, creating, and delivering judicial
education programming, by assisting with correspondence, scheduling, material
assembly. Assists
with the coordination of special projects, including, but not limited to, the
hosting of the Kline Center’s Distinguished Speaker Series and other events,
such as programs, dinners, cocktail receptions, book signings involving judges,
lawyers, legal academics and law students. Assists
with the creation and maintenance of Kline Center programmatic files and
budgetary items such as attendee and invitee lists, financial records,
historical cost-data and p-card input. Assists
with the coordination of the Appellate Moot Court and Trial Advocacy Programs. Assists
with the coordination of the Kline Center Fellows program and assist with
coordinating related events. Assists
with law school and departmental events, including Graduation, Orientation,
Admitted Students’ Day, and alumni events among others. Provides
drop-off location for students/faculty/staff dropping off or picking up
packages, exams, clothing, and other items, and maintains Lost & Found for
the law school. Completes other
duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s
degree from an accredited institution. A minimum of three years’ experience prioritizing tasks
and managing conflicting demands. One year experience in an office environment. Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Zoom and Teams
along with the ability to learn job specific applications and systems. Budget management responsibility and/or handling of cash,
credit card or payment information. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and basic knowledge of office
equipment. Preferred
qualifications: Master’s
degree/JD preferred. Alternately, the
successful candidate may possess any equivalent combination of experience and
training, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required to
perform the essential job functions. This includes, but is not limited to, the
following: Excellent customer service skills, the ability to take
initiative, work independently and be part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage
and address both common day-to-day issues, and unforeseen circumstances that
may arise. Experience working in higher education is helpful, but
not required. Demonstrated experience with, and understanding of, the
