Office Assistant II – Residence Life Salary: $18.00/hr POSITION
SUMMARY: This is moderate to
complex office work in the Office of Residence Life requiring considerable
independent judgment, the ability to be highly organized and excellent interpersonal
skills. *The schedule for this position
will be five days per week. Applicants
must be willing to work weekends and holidays. DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures the safety of all residents Monitors the identification of all
residents and guests entering the building Facilitates the guest sign-in policy Enforces visitation and alcohol
policies Receives, screens and refers telephone
calls and visitors Serves as the main point of contact
for the Residence Life Duty Desk Refers duty calls to Resident Director
on Call as necessary Liaison with Facilities Management on
after-hour maintenance request and follow-up Alerts Residence Life staff of any
unusual circumstances Answers inquiries from the campus and
general community Completes
other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum qualifications: High school diploma Preferred qualifications: Associate’s degree from an accredited institution Previous work-
related experience Alternately, the successful candidate may possess any equivalent combination of

required to perform the essential job functions. This includes, but is not
