Job Description:
As an Sales Unit Manager at DuraCoating, you will be the crucial point of contact for our clients in the oil, gas, and aerospace sectors. You will play a vital role in maintaining strong customer relationships, processing orders, resolving inquiries, and supporting our sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for providing exceptional service within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, technical understanding, a passion for building strong client relationships, as well as manage a group of customer service representatives/ sales personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with various managers, and procurement professionals.
- Act as a trusted advisor and knowledgeable resource for potential clients.
- CRM Management:
- Accurately record and manage all lead interactions and activities in our CRM system.
- Maintain organized records of clients and technical documentation and specifications.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements in the oil, gas, and aerospace sectors.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation and qualification efforts.
- Customer Service:
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and occasionally in person.
Sales Support:
- Oversee the sales team with generating quotes and proposals.
- Follow up on leads and qualify potential customers.
- Prepare sales reports and track key metrics.
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies.
- Process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues, escalating as needed.
- Provide product information and technical support to customers.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update information as needed.
- Proactively identify and address customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in sales development, preferably within a manufacturing or technical industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of the oil, gas, or aerospace industries is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technical information.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales automation tools.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
