We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping/ Receiving/Iventory Coordinator. As a Shipping/ Receiving/Iventory, you will be responsible for overseeing the shipping and receiving process in our distribution center. This is a crucial role that ensures the efficient flow of goods and materials into our warehouse.
```Responsibilities```
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the contents
- Inspect packages for damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
- Unload and load trucks using a forklift or other equipment
- Utilize an RF scanner to track and update inventory in our MRP system (future)
- Sort and label received items and ensure they are stored in the correct location
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any receiving-related issues
- Create pick lists as needed and instructed
- Crating/palletizing orders for shipment
- Shipment scheduling
- Attach shipping documentation to shipment
- Return shipping docs to office
- Identify and resolve any shipping or receiving discrepancies as they arise
- Ad hoc duties as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area

- Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment
- Proficiency in operating a forklift and order picker
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately count and record inventory
- Familiarity with order picking processes and procedures
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and ability to safely lift and move packages
- Ability to effectively use an RF scanner for inventory tracking
