Basic Function:
· Ensure the safety of your team, the quality of your processes, and manage capacity to achieve on time delivery and increase productivity (manage day-to-day operations)
· Provide daily leadership and training to the Finishing Department to ensure customer demand is met
·Ensure your team members are supplied with material to maximize productivity of the team
· Drive continuous improvement and enhance the team spirit through the application of lean tools (more to come)
Reporting relationships:
Reports to: COO
Direct reports: Finishers and Kitting Coordinators about 12 employees
Objective and Overview:
- Reinforce DuraMark’s core values
- Provide coaching and training to team members to help them become technically competent
- Assist in recruiting process when open positions exist
- Create SOPs to ensure proper training
- Take care of your team members (schedules, time off requests, timecard approvals, safety audits, lead L10 meetings, and recognition)
- Deliver to your customer (create schedules, delegate tasks, coordinate team(s), document issues and collect data for problem solving)
- Ensure standard work is being followed and improve standard work through use of lean tools and visual management
- Participate in Production and Weekend Meetings
- Audit your processes (standard work, safety and quality procedures, product routings and BOM, and material flow)
- Determine the completion timeline and monitor progress to keep projects on track and on schedule
- Communicate clear instructions to team members
- Create and distribute reports to update the company on the team’s progress

Role Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or GED
Experience:
3-5 years of Leadership Experience, preferably in printing or manufacturing.

We are ideally looking for a full-time candidate, Monday-Friday, 1st shift. We are looking for someone who would like to work overtime when it's available due to workload.
