We are seeking an enthusiastic, employee-focused Talent Management Specialist to join our team of employee owners. The Talent Management Specialist is responsible for leading and managing the full employee lifecycle, from recruiting and onboarding to retention and engagement. This individual will play a key role in building and maintaining a positive, inclusive work environment while ensuring we attract, develop and retain top talent. The ideal candidate will be skilled in recruiting, fostering strong relationships with employees, and implementing programs that enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, from job posting to offer negotiation and acceptance.
- Work closely with department heads to identify staffing needs and create effective job descriptions.
- Utilize multiple sourcing channels to attract top talent, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs.
Talent Onboarding:
- Develop and implement an engaging and effective onboarding program for new hires.
- Ensure smooth integration into the company culture and operations.
- Provide new employees with the necessary resources and tools for success.
- Gather feedback from new employees to continuously improve the onboarding process.
Employee Retention & Engagement:
- Develop and execute strategies to improve employee retention through feedback, recognition, and career development initiatives.
- Collaborate with leadership to create a supportive and inclusive work culture.
- Implement employee engagement programs and activities to foster a positive work environment.
- Monitor and analyze employee satisfaction surveys, turnover rates, and other metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize HRIS and other tools to track and report on recruitment, retention, and engagement metrics.
- Analyze trends and provide insights to leadership to inform workforce planning and strategy.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as a liaison between employees and management, addressing concerns and ensuring clear communication.
- Partner with the HR team to ensure alignment on company-wide initiatives, including diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment, employee engagement, and retention.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, including talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and other HR software tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to analyze HR data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
