POSITION SUMMARY

The Process Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient molding processes, troubleshooting machine issues, and optimizing production quality. This hands-on role requires experience in injection molding, technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong mechanical abilities, and have a proactive approach to process improvements. This role directly contributes to our mission of operational excellence and product innovation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and perform mold and material changes, ensuring proper setup and startup.
  • Troubleshoot product and process issues, making necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure molding machines and systems meet correct parameters for optimal production.
  • Verify process parameters and make changes to improve cycle times.
  • Work with QC and production staff to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
  • Maintain accurate job setup sheets and process documentation.
  • Coordinate with the tool room for all tool repairs and modifications.
  • Train and assist mold changers as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all company safety policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-5 years of experience in injection molding process operations required.
  • Scientific and decoupled molding certification preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills, preferably in plastics or injection molding.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
