This Role:
We’re currently seeking a Lead Graphic Designer to join our extraordinary team. This will be a full-time, hybrid role (2-3 days/week in person) located at our Innovation Center in Grand Rapids, MI.
What You Will Do:
Based on a deep understanding of design principles, the Lead Graphic Designer will drive action through the marketing funnel by Duravent Group’s target audiences (distributors, contractors, architects, installers, pros and homeowners) by developing creative visual assets for Duravent Group marketing campaigns, including but not limited to: online campaigns, print/digital ads, websites, social media campaigns, packaging, and in-store POS materials (for showrooms retail environments).
The ideal candidate will have strong videography/photography skills as well as experience with packaging and POS design.
How You Will Do It:
- Make design choices, such as fonts and colors, for all branded materials using design science. Create brand guidelines and work with Brand Marketing to adjust guidelines as needed
- Work cross-functionally with various teams to identify products that need visual content as well as develop the content that will drive product sales
- Act as project manager for design initiatives, advising on best practices and ensuring projects are completed in a timely manner with quality deliverables based on design principles. Track projects by maintaining Smartsheets.
- Create and design B2B and B2C marketing materials for digital media (social / websites / digital ads) and print media (literature / packaging / trade shows / retail merchandising)
- Shoot and edit product photographs (360’s) and product videos (Installation and How-To videos)
- Manage freelance designers (as needed) and ensure they stay on task, on time and on target
What We’re Looking for:
Candidates who offer:
- Current/valid work authorization in the U.S. without requiring future visa sponsorship (required)
- Bachelor’s level education in graphic design (required)
- Prior professional experience in product photography and videography including editing (required) ideally utilizing Adobe products (preferred)
- Prior professional experience in POS and packaging materials (strongly preferred)
