What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Associates position at Duro-Last?
Oscoda Plastics manufacturer of accessories for the Duro-Last Roofing System along with Protect-All flooring and ProFlex vinyl expansion joints and roofing accessories, is looking to grow their manufacturing team. Starting wage is $19.00 per hour with $1.50 shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift. All hourly employees receive WEEKLY PAY!! This position is also eligible to take part in the company's annual bonus program.
Position Responsibilities:
Production Associates will be assisting their fellow team members in:
- Making a high-quality product, free of defects, to fulfill customers’ needs and expectations.
- Learn all the basic level tasks including how to operate production equipment and learn manufacturing procedures
- Accurately complete all required production paperwork
- Attend and participate in scheduled Company meetings including all plant, production, and safety meetings
- Keep work area clean and neat to ensure there are no safety hazards and that the area is presentable for guests
- All other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to work in a team and have initiative to get the job done
- Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug screen, physical, and background check
- Bend, push, carry, lift up to 50 pounds
- Available to work up to a 12-hour shift and weekends when necessary
- Must have open availability to work any shift
- Previous manufacturing experience is highly desired
