What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Associates position at Duro-Last?
Oscoda Plastics®, Inc., manufacturer of accessories for the Duro-Last Roofing System along with Protect-All® flooring and ProFlex® vinyl expansion joints and roofing accessories, is looking to grow their manufacturing team. We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn and grow within our company! This is a full-time position with starting wages ranging from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on previous manufacturing experience.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist fellow team members in making a high-quality product, free of defects, to fulfill customers’ needs and expectations
- While working with a qualified trainer, learn all the basic level tasks including how to operate all machines, (shredder cell, cut-down, roof-tac welding, mixing, roll-cutting, heat treat, etc.) and all procedures
- Accurately complete all required production paperwork
- Keep work area clean and neat to ensure there are no safety hazards and that the area is presentable for guests
- All other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to work in a team and have initiative to get the job done
- Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug screen, physical, and background check
- Bend, push, carry, lift up to 50 pounds
- Available to work up to a 12-hour shift and weekends when necessary
- Must be available to work any shift
- Previous manufacturing experience is highly desired
