Duty First Consulting (DFC) is currently seeking a Human Capital Consultant to join our team. Our team works on projects intended to help organizations transform by optimizing their workforce through realigning operations and processes to improve their effectiveness. The Human Capital Consultant will have a variety of responsibilities, which include developing and delivering client products that support change initiatives and workforce development. Additionally, the consultant will evaluate success of change management activities and make recommendations for improvement.
What the role requires:
Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Use Prosci methodology to complete change management activities for large projects.
- Draft materials to support executive-level communications, reports, and briefings.
- Monitor project progress by tracking activities, which includes administering or managing specific projects, programs, or tasks.
- Support the task lead with best practice research.
- Support workforce development activities as a part of improvement initiatives.
- Develop reports with recommendations and action plans.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence.
What you need to be successful:
- 2-4 years of experience working in human capital consulting or related field.
- Experience supporting executive-level communication.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to explain concepts to key audiences and stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments with quick deadlines and limited guidance.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and SharePoint 2010.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfort with presenting and facilitation.
- Ability to work independently and in teams is required.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence.
Other important information:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Prosci Change Management Practitioner Certification preferred.
- Ability to obtain a US government security clearance, if needed, is required.
