Job Title: Expediter (Expo)
Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Expediter to join our dynamic team in Downtown Sarasota. As an Expo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of food orders from the kitchen to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and accurately read order tickets.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff to prioritize and expedite orders.
- Ensure that food orders are prepared correctly and on time.
- Inspect dishes for quality, presentation, and accuracy before they leave the kitchen.
- Coordinate with servers to ensure timely delivery of food to guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist with side work and cleaning duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Expediter or in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
