Corporate Legal Assistant – Support two seasoned partners who have worked together since law school (20 years!). This role is open due to retirement—a rare chance to join a well-established team. Must have transactional experience in real estate, energy, M&A, and private equity and impeccable communication skills.
HYBRID - 1-day work from home/4 days work in the office - 40-hour work week
Duties will include a combination of legal support and administrative responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding client service through email, telephone, and in-person communications with clients. Proofread and review all written work, including correspondence, memos, and transaction documents for content, context, and typos - HEAVY DOCUMENTATION - MUST BE EFFICIENT IN MS WORD.
- Prepare documents for client review and signature.
- Schedule meetings and conference rooms.
- Assist attorneys with compliance with COMPLEX client billing and timekeeping requirements.
- Review and edit client bills to ensure conformance with client billing requirements.
- Manage conflict checks, new client matter openings, and engagement and waiver letters.
- Manage attorneys’ travel portfolios, including making travel arrangements, maintaining travel profiles, and calendar travel.
- Maintain attorneys’ bar and professional memberships.
- Handle expense reimbursements.
