The Duxbury Middle School is seeking exceptional candidates for Long Term Substitute Grade 6 Teacher - Social Studies from March 24,2025 through the end of the 2024-25 school year.
The position includes five sections of Ancient Civilizations and Geography I.
The units of coverage will include Ancient China and Ancient South American civilizations.
Position Requirements:
- Massachusetts DESE Certification in History (Grades 5-8)
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from accredited college or university
- Particular comfort teaching topics that include Ancient China and Ancient South American civilizations,

Classroom management skills that support students' social-emotional learning

Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners

Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks

Current authorization to work in the United States
