What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Coordinator position at DVL Group, Inc.?
The HR Coordinator is responsible primarily for assisting with recruiting and payroll processes and will also assist when needed with wellness, compliance, and employee relations functions. The Coordinator works directly with the Senior HR Director and Payroll & Benefits Team Lead providing administrative support with the aspiration and abilities for a career path and eventually being part of the recruiting or payroll division succession planning. This person is an HR contact for the Bristol location and is expected to be in the office at least 24 hours per week with the option to work from home the other 16 hours per week.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING
- Support the Recruiting process by searching for potential qualified candidates via job boards, screening resumes, communications with applicants, taking part in the interview process, professional reference checks, and monitoring applicants via the Applicant Tracking System (via Clear Company).
- Learn, assist and eventual back up for Payroll administrative processes (via Paylocity).
- Learn, assist and eventual back up for timecard administrative processes.
- Coordinate actions such as I-9 reverification and file maintenance, EEO-1 reporting, and other annual compliance reporting and audits, former associate requests for information, employment verifications, and customer onsite requests for technicians.
- Take part in the new hire orientation including preparing new associate welcome packets, facilitating a part of the onboarding and training for all new hires.
- Learn and eventual back up for travel assistance (via Expedia), distributing mail and other front desk activities when needed.
- Be an additional local liaison for community outreach efforts and charitable work.
- Learn and become an additional resource for the Company retirement plans.
- Become an active member of the Wellness Committee and take part in wellness initiatives.
- Assist with processing status changes in the HRIS system (via Paylocity) and accompanying job descriptions and forms.
- Maintain employment files including staying in compliance with purging laws.
- Assist with any special HR or EHS Department projects.
- Act as one of the points of contact for the PA HR department by assisting with internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY
- High School diploma required, college degree in related field preferred
- College degree or several years of recent, relevant employee relations, payroll and/or recruiting experience required
- Genuine interest and ability in furthering career in recruiting or payroll
- HRIS, Payroll and/or Applicant Tracking System experience
- Prior recent and relevant internal customer service experience
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar related Certification or in process of attaining preferred
- Prior recent candidate sourcing and applicant tracking system experienced preferred
- Exhibits extraordinary discretion, confidentiality, and flexibility with all associates
- Examples of developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others
- Highly Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook and PowerPoint)

The pay range is $60,000-$67,000/yr. based on relevant experience plus bonus and laptop.
