Job Summary:
This role is responsible for supporting the organization’s technology needs by integrating and maintaining Microsoft systems, meeting with new hires to provide technology onboarding, and assisting with various technology-related tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and enjoys helping others succeed in a tech-driven environment.
Job Status (FLSA): Full-Time, Exempt
Location: Located at West Chester office with occasional travel to our North Wales location.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
The following list of responsibilities is not all inclusive, additional projects and/or tasks may be assigned to meet operational needs. DVM retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position should operational needs warrant.
- Integrate and Maintain Microsoft Systems
- Assessing Microsoft platforms such as SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, and Power Apps for continuous improvement. Delivering user feedback to Director of IT Applications.
- Technical Onboarding and User Support
- Conduct onboarding sessions for new employees, introducing them to company technology and tools, including Microsoft 365, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Set up user accounts and permissions and provide ongoing support for new hires during their first 90 days.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues, escalating complex problems to the appropriate IT support teams
- Documentation, Training, and Process Improvement
- Develop and maintain onboarding guides, training materials, and standard operating procedures related to Microsoft systems.
- Assisting with training sessions created to ensure employees stay up to date on best practices for using company technology.
- Business Support
- Provide backup coverage for the Director of IT Applications, assisting with IT projects, application updates, or system changes as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field, preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in IT support, business development, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, Power Apps, as well as no-code or low-code applications. OneDrive or Microsoft Dynamics, preferred.
- Satisfactory completion of additional background screening.
Physical Requirements:
- The work environment is a typical office environment, with quiet to moderate noise level, and traditional lighting.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and operating a computer. Dexterity associated with performing repetitive tasks such as typing and working on the computer for an extended period of time.
- Must be able to communicate effectively using phones or computer software.
- Must be able to regularly stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25lbs.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities.
- Must be able to travel between DVM locations as needed, some travel could require overnight stays.
