You will partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies to find top talent. You will also play a key role in employer branding initiatives, helping to promote our company culture and attract a diverse pool of applicants.

Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be a talent acquisition rock star, utilizing their expertise to source, screen, and interview candidates for positions at all levels in the organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with hiring managers to ensure DVM is building a high-performing team that reflects its company values of Leadership, Teamwork, Adaptability, Accountability, and Passion.
Job Status (FLSA): Full-Time, Exempt
Location: West Chester, PA. Some travel may be required to meet operational needs.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and define job requirements.
- In collaboration with leadership, design and implement compelling and compliant job descriptions that accurately reflect the role and company culture.
- Collaborate with the VP of People and Culture to ensure salary benchmarks are commensurate with recruitment strategy and existing positions.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates, with guidance from VP of People & Culture.
- Utilize various online recruiting platforms and job boards to source top talent.
- Source qualified candidates through a variety of channels, including online platforms (job boards, social media, professional networks), employee referrals, and attending industry events.
- Craft targeted outreach messages to attract top talent, including passive candidates.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify the most qualified candidates.
- Schedule and conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews using various formats.
- Evaluate candidates based on skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Efficiently coordinate the interview process and interview logistics, keeping hiring managers informed and candidates engaged.
- Assist in the preparation of offers of employment, negotiation of salaries and benefits packages.
- In collaboration with the HR department team members, onboard new hires and ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
- Support employer branding initiatives and promote company culture.
- Stay up to date on relevant industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
- Contribute to building a strong employer brand that attracts a diverse and talented pool of candidates.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Adept at using recruiting software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Adept at using multiple channels to source candidates (to include but not limited to job boards, social media, professional networks)
- Proficiency in utilizing an HRIS (Workforce Go preferred).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A drive to provide a quality customer service approach and a passion for building a positive candidate experience.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of successful experience in a talent acquisition or recruitment role, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Professional certification in HR desirable (SHRM CP/SCP or similar)
- Successful experience in the full recruitment cycle, from job description development to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Proven ability to source and attract high-caliber candidates through various channels, for positions at all levels in an organization.
- Satisfactory completion of additional background screening.
Physical Requirements:
- The work environment is a typical office environment, with quiet to moderate noise level, and traditional lighting.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and operating a computer.
- Must be able to communicate effectively using phones or computer software.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities.
- Must be able to travel between DVM locations as needed, some travel could require overnight stays.
