BACKGROUND :
DWK Life Sciences LLC (DWK) was created as a result of the merger of three industry leaders and provides the world's laboratories and production environments with the most comprehensive range of labware for scientific research and technical applications, as well as solutions for storage and packaging. We manufacture a full range of precision glassware and specialty products for life sciences. We also offer products and services (vials, ampules, stoppers, septa, seals, caps, bottles, tubes, flasks, and value-added services) to customers seeking packaging solutions.
Company revenue is generated through four primary channels : Global distributors, National distributors, Direct field selling efforts, and inside / telephone sales selling efforts.
DWK supports four primary market segments : Laboratory, Pharmaceutical, Analytical Sciences, and Industrial glass.
POSITION SUMMARY :
Reports under the direction of the DC Manager. Is responsible for all data entry, documentation, inventory adjustments and record keeping of the Vineland DC inventory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Use the inventory systems, SAP & Viadat to record all inventory transactions including : material issue to, and returned from, inventory shipped, inventory adjustments and receipts from vendors.
- Prepare shipping documents for all internal and external shipments.
- Receive inbound product using SAP & Viadat.
- Investigate all receiving and shipping issues using the ADAC report.
- Respond to emails and phone requests pertaining to shipping and receiving issues.
- Process RGAs
- File and maintain shipping and receiving documents.
- Participate in the process of taking physical inventories as needed.
- Able to work overtime when needed.
- Demonstrates behavior that meets Good Manufacturing Practices, Safety and Good Housekeeping requirements.
- Serves as backup to other Distribution Center positions, as required.
- Maintains work area in a clean and safe manner.
- Observes all safety rules and regulations and performs job in a safe manner.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Work will take place in an office environment. Employee may be required to work weekends, holidays and be on-call on occasion. The employee may encounter controlled air conditions with frequent air changes, environmental exposure. Travel occasionally; both domestic and international.
