Dwyer Workforce Development (DWD) is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to drive grassroots engagement, build partnerships, and support aspiring healthcare professionals—our Dwyer Scholars—on their path to career success. Based in North Florida, this role offers the chance to be a visible, connected leader who brings people and purpose together in the name of progress.

What You’ll Do:
The Community Engagement Coordinator builds and maintains a network of relationships with community organizations and agencies, nonprofits, faith communities, referral and training partners, government entities, funders, government entities and local senior care providers in support of DWD’s mission and its’ Dwyer Scholars.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with communitybased organizations, nonprofits, referral partners, and senior care providers.
- Represent DWD at community events, resource fairs, and meetings—both virtually and in person.
- Act as a connector for Dwyer Scholars, identifying support services like childcare, health and wellness, and emergency assistance.
- Plan and execute impactful engagement programs and activities.
- Help identify funding sources and support grant development efforts.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to measure success and impact.
Who You Are:
Our ideal candidate will have a successful track record in partnership development, partner and project management, event logistics, and communications, plus a genuine passion for helping those who lack opportunity and improving the lives of seniors.
- A natural relationshipbuilder with 3 years of experience in community engagement, outreach, senior services, or workforce development.
- A strong communicator who’s energized by public speaking and presenting.
- Organized, adaptable, and motivated to make a difference every day.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Public Affairs, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Experienced with CRM tools like Salesforce (a plus!).
- Able and willing to travel throughout North Florida, and occasionally to Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, and Maryland.
- Have a valid driver’s license and regular access to a vehicle.
