Responsibilities/Job Functions
- Build relationships with manufacturing plants and operations departments
- Develop reporting and analysis for key metrics
- Responsible for monitoring and auditing plant cycle count programs and annual physical inventories
- Analyze production levels and manufacturing variances
- Analyze PPV
- Assist in setting and reviewing labor and overhead rates and assist in standard cost rolls
- Analyze standard costs and margins
- Assist in managing the E&O inventory process and reserve calculation
- Assist in the monthly close process, creating analyses and journal entries on inventory, production and operating expenses, provide narrative on COGS
- Assist budgeting and forecasting processes
- Participate on cross functional project teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5 years of cost accounting experience, in a manufacturing environment
- Advanced Excel skills
- Analytical and detail oriented
- Efficient and well-organized with the ability to prioritize
- Confidentiality and integrity
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Motivated with a desire to learn
