- Linux Team Lead who can perform below:
- Lead and manage a team of Linux specialists, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure high-performance delivery
- Ensure effective team collaboration, supervising progress, and optimizing workflows to meet project goals and deadlines
- Monitor performance and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Linux Expertise & Technical Oversight
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Linux systems, with deep knowledge of Linux administration, configuration, and optimization
- Oversee large-scale Linux deployments, migrations, and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to services and operations
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of Linux-based systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Linux-related issues, implementing proactive solutions to mitigate future challenges
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Storage, Backup, Network, Application developers, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and efficient system performance
- Engage with IT Service Management teams to provide reports or updates on Incidents, Problems, Changes, Capacity, and Service Levels
- Develop and deliver training sessions and knowledge sharing across the team to ensure a strong, unified approach to Linux capabilities
- Process Improvement & Documentation
- Develop and enforce best practices for Linux system management, including security hardening, performance monitoring, and backup strategies
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational workflows to optimize efficiency and reliability
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Linux systems, including configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides
- 5 years of hands-on experience with Linux system administration
- Proven experience in a leadership role, managing technical teams and projects
- Advanced knowledge of Linux server architectures, networking, and security protocols
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex system issues efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
