Responsibilities of the Mailroom Associate include, but are not limited to :
- Sort and deliver incoming mail
- Process all outgoing mail, including UPS
- Daily sorts and weighs all outgoing mail; affix appropriate postage using postage meter
- Sort and fold using mail inserting machine; weigh for mailing; process with outgoing mail
- Receive daily all incoming mail, interdepartmental mail, notices, and memoranda; sort according to appropriate destination; distribute to all hospital departments
- Relieve receptionist when needed
- Other duties as assigned
