The Storeroom Clerk is responsible for issuing supplies to manufacturing floor while maintaining accurate records of materials released from the storeroom. The Clerk is also responsible for assisting in monitoring inventory levels via daily cycle counts and receiving product into the storeroom in accordance with DXP Enterprise policies and procedures. This position requires building customer relations via product deliveries and assistance in the storeroom. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Issuing production materials and supplies to the manufacturing floor.
- Assist in maintaining inventory, stocking shelves, delivering product to manufacturing floor and maintaining a clean storeroom.
- Checking expiration dates of product.
- Conduct daily inventory cycle counts.
- Receive new Storeroom inventory in accordance with established procedures.
- Inform Site Manager of discrepancies when receiving or during cycle counts.
- Ensure the safety and security of the Storeroom at all times.
- Other duties shall be assigned as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Storeroom experience preferred but not required.
- Familiar with inventory control processes and procedures.
- Organization and record keeping skills required.
- Valid Drivers license
- Must be a US citizen
