How does the Press Brake fit into this?
- Our products are fabricated from raw material, including plate steel. Most of these items require uniquely shaped steel, and that's where the CNC Press Brake comes into play.
- We need you to be comfortable programming and operating the Press Brake, because if the steel coming from the Press Brake isn't accurate, it will make the whole process be more difficult clear up to final assembly and shipping.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Setup: Configure and set up CNC press brake machines by selecting the appropriate tools, dies, and programming parameters.- Operation: Operate CNC press brake machines to bend, shape, and form metal components accurately according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet the quality standards and tolerances outlined in the production plans.
- Tool Maintenance: Maintain and clean machine tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, wearing personal protective equipment as required.
- Documentation: Complete production records and maintain detailed logs of work performed.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues, escalating major problems to the maintenance department.
- Efficiency: Work efficiently to meet production targets and minimize downtime.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the manufacturing team to ensure a smooth production process.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing suggestions for enhancements in efficiency, quality, and safety.
