We are seeking a Key Account Manager who is passionate about Sales and proficient at maintaining and growing existing business relationships while developing new ones. the ideal candidate would consider themself to have a mechanical mindset. The best sales people for us are those with mechanical aptitude who can quickly come up to speed on our product
The annual base salary range is $100,000 – 150,000 (DOE)

About the role:
This role is responsible for proactively driving sales and revenue growth for our Industrial Market Sales team and executing against sales targets by serving the needs of our customers with new, replacement, or re-built equipment. Understanding our unique value proposition and effectively leveraging it to win business from our large customer base is crucial to the success of the Key Account Manager.
What you will do:
- Develop a thorough knowledge of our products and their applications.
- Be able to solve problems using critical thinking and your in-depth knowledge of our product offerings. Thinking “outside the box” is frequently required to provide customized, time-sensitive solutions to critical customer requirements.
- Travel to customer facilities, conduct detailed discussions on preventative maintenance, ensure proper use/calibration of our product, persuade customers to have spare units in inventory, and/or use our exclusive OEM-spec repair services to ensure maximized performance and longevity of their Dynamatic product.
- Apply well-developed sales acumen to uncover, qualify, and close sales opportunities.
- Address inquiries related to sales, service, technical applications, product returns and/or warranties, and general customer service calls.
- Prepare and present quotations/presentations related to products, repairs, and services.
- Conduct timely updates of quotations and/or customer status in CRM system.
- Perform regular and proactive follow-up on generated quotations.
- Participate in developing Dynamatic’s marketing strategy, including identifying new opportunities.
- Travel on average of 3 weeks per month to develop, maintain, and nurture existing and new relationships.
- Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers
- Develop ways to improve customer experience and build brand loyalty
- Research the market and industry trends aimed at creating new opportunities to expand business

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience with variable speed drive technology, i.e., VFD’s, Eddy Current dives/brakes/controls, Servo’s, motors, rotating equipment, consulting engineering, plant operations, metal stamping shop, municipal water/wastewater, or any other industry utilizing our technology.
