Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the dental office, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Oversee scheduling, patient flow, and appointment management to optimize office efficiency.
- Supervise staff, including participating in hiring, training, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment.
- Implement budgeting and financial management strategies to maintain profitability while providing quality care.
- Understand revenue cycle and maintain standards of collection.
- Proficient customer service skills including de-escalation and able to balance compassion and value to services provided.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Curve practice management software.
- Coordinate with dental professionals to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care and treatment plans.
- Develop and enforce office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Handle billing, insurance claims, and collections in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor all systems within practice to maintain proper efficiency, inventory, and culture.
Experience
- 3 years of dental experience required.
- Minimum 1-2 years in a management role within a dental setting is preferred.
- Proficient in using practice management systems for scheduling and record keeping.
- Strong skills in budgeting and financial management to support the overall health of the practice.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage staff effectively while promoting teamwork. Our culture is our most important asset!
- Knowledge of referral systems and ability to work with other dental professionals a plus.
