What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Counter position at DYNAMIC EQUIPMENT GROUP?
The position is primarily responsible for selling parts products to businesses, industrial establishments, or individuals in person through the parts counter and over the telephone.
Essential duties

- Greet walk-in and telephone customers to help with their parts inquiries
- Research and fill customer parts orders, requests, and estimates
- Place daily orders from multiple equipment parts vendors
- Receive, pull, and ship customer parts orders
- Communicate with customers about upcoming parts sales / specials and any current or upcoming parts requests or purchases
- Evaluate and discuss with each customers their part & ongoing customer service experience with us
- Follow proper cash account procedures
- Receive payment or obtain credit authorization
- Ensure maximum sales volume
- Handle customer complaints tactfully and thoughtfully, keeping Parts Manger advised of all issues
- Keep the parts counter clean and orderly
- Make outbound lead follow up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and email
