Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Parts Counter to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts for their needs.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring stock is adequately maintained and organized.
- Process transactions using a cash register, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Fulfill orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of parts.
- Utilize Excel for tracking inventory, sales data, and order fulfillment processes.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to provide excellent service.
- Negotiate prices with vendors when necessary to ensure competitive market positioning.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance customer experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in parts sales or a related field is preferred.
- Strong sales management skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Proficient in cash handling and operating a cash register.
- Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and stock management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting purposes.
