Dynamic Group Management is actively seeking select service General Managers for hotels in the Chattanooga and Cleveland, TN areas. As part of our growth and expansion, we are looking for an active customer-focused team player with exceptional operations and leadership skills. The Hotel General Manager ensures the overall success and management of the hotel, staff, and services. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational and leadership skills, as well as an extensive knowledge of the hotel industry. Dynamic Group is proud to be a franchisor of both IHG and Marriott brands including Holiday Inn, TownePlace Suites, Courtyard, and Element.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the hotel.
- Prioritize excellent guest experiences by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and maintain high service brand standards.
- Develop and manage budgets, track revenue, analyze financial performance, and identify opportunities to increase profitability.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop the front desk staff to successfully perform selling techniques and procedures for current promotions.
- Foster positive relationships with guests, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor and manage budgetary expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with guests, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
- Manage and develop staff to ensure efficiency and high levels of customer service.
- Monitor industry trends and implement best practices.
- Provide the Revenue Management Department with information that includes a market analysis of competitors’ rates by market segment for weekday and weekend and a forecast of local market conditions and special events that may impact occupancy and/or rate.
- Support sales efforts as directed by the Management and the corporate sales organization.
- Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing and spreadsheets. Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Full working knowledge of property management system including FOSSEE and Lightspeed.
Working Considerations:
- This position requires a physical presence in Chattanooga or Cleveland, TN.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand, walk for long periods of time while maintaining a professional image.
- Possible weekend availability.
Skills and Experience
- 5 Years of Experience with proven track record in sales, ideally with a focus on client acquisition and revenue growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field.
- Knowledge of Sales Force/ Delphi, or other CRM platforms.
- Efficiency in Google Workspace Applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with potential and current clients.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
