The Payroll & Human Resources Coordinator manages payroll processing and financial recordkeeping. This role also supports aspects of the Human Resources function for the hospitality division to include recruitment assistance, reference checking, dentification verification, unemployment, and applicable data processing. This position will be based out of our office in Chattanooga, TN.

The Payroll & Human Resources Coordinator manages payroll processing and financial recordkeeping. This role also supports aspects of the Human Resources function for the hospitality division to include recruitment assistance, reference checking, dentification verification, unemployment, and applicable data processing. This position will be based out of our office in Chattanooga, TN.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Reviewing I9's to ensure accuracy and verifying active and termed I9's.
- Complete data entry related to associate personal information, payroll information, and audit all input for accuracy. Compile reports from the database as needed.
- Ensuring bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly HR/Payroll reports and invoices are created, processed and provided to hotels.
- Complete Unemployment Compensation claim forms with associate separation or layoff information.
- Process associate terminations: generate PCF, secure electronic signature from hotels; and update payroll system.
- Process accounts payable/receivable, expense reports, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in the recruitment process of new associates by posting positions, pre-screening candidates, scheduling interviews if requested, processing data, generating specific reports for the assigned hotels.
- Assist with accurate tax withholdings, benefits deductions, and compliance with federal and Tennessee payroll laws.
- Submit payroll taxes (federal, state, local) and assist with year-end W-2s/1099s.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries.
Education
High School Diploma, or Equivalent. College Degree (BA/BS/Associate): or Work Equivalent
Experience
Must have extensive knowledge of Paycor HR and Payroll Software.

Must have at least two (2) to three (3) years of related Payroll & Human Resources experience.
Experience in hospitality preferred.
