Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the tactical execution of projects, including project approach and deliverables.
- Manage administrative and contractual obligations, including owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
- Engage in business development activities, building strategic partnerships with key client accounts.
- Attend conferences, tradeshows, and community events to represent the company and expand its network.
- Participate in project pursuits, leading proposal strategies and assisting with estimating, presentations, interviews, and preconstruction services.
- Promote job site safety and ensure compliance with company safety training requirements.
- Lead the development and implementation of quality control, safety, and environmental programs.
- Manage project budgets, cost control, change management, manpower and resource planning, and financial projections.
- Collaborate with the Project Executive and estimating team on job-specific buyout strategies.
- Supervise and coach Project Engineers, Field Engineers, Team Coordinators, and Project Accountants.
- Ensure strict adherence to contract provisions to reduce risk and preserve company rights.
Must Haves to Be Considered for the Role
- 5-7 years of relevant project experience in all phases of commercial construction.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in managing diverse construction disciplines, including earthwork, structural concrete, process mechanical, and electrical.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical process installation and associated materials and equipment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage diverse personalities.
- Knowledge of Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Primavera, Navisworks, Microsoft Project, and Viewpoint project manager software is a plus.
- Passion for construction and a desire to work in the water market, focused on environmental sustainability.
