Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Select appropriate tools and materials for machining processes.
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or need for adjustment.
- Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of production numbers and machine maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with engineers and other machinists to improve machining processes.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and machine operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus.
- Knowledge of machining processes and best practices.
