Credit Research Vice President
Credit Risk Management is seeking an analyst candidate to support its Industry Research function and risk management of our client’s credit asset portfolio. You will cover the Healthcare and Technology sectors. Key responsibilities include gathering and analyzing industry information, financial modeling, and writing reports on industries and companies under coverage. You should be able to clearly identify macro and micro credit risk factors that impact both individual companies and broader industries and sub-sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Write comprehensive industry initiation research reports, analyze news and data releases, and assess their implications for sector coverage, producing ad hoc thematic reports on industry developments impacting the credit quality of our client’s wholesale portfolio.
- Conduct proprietary research evaluating the competitive landscape, and perform due diligence through surveys, expert conference calls, and various channel checks to assess industry trends.
- Build dynamic financial models or use existing tools for quantitative analysis as necessary.
- Proactively engage with credit officers on industry developments to inform internal rating actions and enterprise credit risk limit management, as appropriate.
- Debate and challenge team members’ research assumptions and conclusions across all industries and segments.
- Prepare presentations for Senior Management, Banking teams, Management Committees, Regulators, and other stakeholders. Source alternative data sets and simplify and summarize relevant industry and company information for inclusion in research reports.
- Create and maintain relationships with industry contacts and key stakeholders.
