The Operations team plays a critical role in ensuring that the firm’s trading assets are settled, serviced, valued, and accurately reflected in their books and records for downstream reporting. With a commitment to operational excellence, they aim for 100% straight-through processing, including T0 matching of trading activity, T 1 position and PNL reconciliation, and the timely processing of post-trade events, including options processing and asset servicing. They proactively identify and resolve discrepancies between internal data and the data represented by prime brokerage, clearing, custodians, and fund administrators, ensuring that positions and funds are managed with precision.

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Operations Associate to join their growing Operations team. This is a unique opportunity to perform vital middle office and post-trade support functions while contributing to high-impact projects that will shape the future of the firm’s operations and reduce operational risk. Responsibilities:
- Perform trade reconciliations across various asset classes and markets.
- Define and implement operational risk controls to safeguard the firm’s activities.
- Reconcile internal positions with multiple counterparties, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Manage administrative positions, transactions, and cash reconciliations exceptions across a wide range of counterparties.
- Oversee T 0 matching and settlement of trades across multiple asset classes and markets.
- Handle mandatory and voluntary corporate action events, managing the entire post-trade lifecycle.
- Analyze and optimize the firm’s operational platform to establish straight-through processing and improve efficiency.
- Partner with technology teams to design and implement automated processes that reduce manual intervention.
- Track, resolve, and remediate operational incidents in a timely manner.
